MGSU awarded the honorary title of "Winner of 2023" by the OIIO Organizing Committee

Open International Internet Olympiad (OIIO) in Mathematics, Physics, Theoretical Mechanics, Mechanics of Materials, IT and other disciplines were held at MGSU in March and April 2023. According to the results of the competition, the Organizing Committee of the Internet Olympiads awarded MGSU the honorary title "Winner of the Open International Internet Olympiads of 2023."

4,931 students from 183 universities and branches of universities of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan took part in the Internet Olympiad. MGSU students won two gold, four silver and nine bronze medals at the Internet Olympiads. The participants were trained by the Head of the MGSU Olympiad Club, senior lecturer of the Department of General and Applied Physics Konstantin Modestov, lecturer of the Department of Applied Mathematics Magomedyusuf Khasanov, Associate Professor of the Department of Mechanics of Materials Konstantin Tsvetkov and Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Mathematics Sergey Zotkin.

OIIO has been held since 2008 via information and communication technologies. There are only two Olympiad venues in Moscow – MGSU and RUDN University. MGSU has been actively participating in OIIO since 2009.
